Our Story
A soldier's love for home
Chakra Rai served in the UK Army, building a life in Britain with his wife and children, far from the hills of Khotang where he was born. But distance never loosened his tie to home. Every time he returned to his village — even for a short visit — he made a habit of asking the people around him the same simple question: what does this village need most right now?
The answers became action. A road that needed building. A path that needed repair. Whatever the village told him it lacked, Chakra Rai quietly worked to provide — not as a distant benefactor sending money from abroad, but as a son of the village who happened to live overseas.
